Provide a systematic approach to physical assessment: Proactive Ergonomics Programs focus on providing prompt and effective musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) management, which includes access to a health care professional (HCP). The Occutrack program provides the HCP with a systematic approach to the physical assessment of these disorders. Help tabs, describing the examination and normal values, are available for each part of the assessment.

Occupational nurses and therapists can do assessments: The Occutrack program will be especially valuable to in-plant nurses and therapists who want to provide early intervention. The program offers diagnostic possibilities for the HCP to consider, based upon the findings checked in the program.

Case Management of MSDs:The program provides guidance for early management of MSDs. Follow-up and referral recommendations are included.

Occutrack supplements Egotrack on-line applications. Use of the applications together will often give the employer tools to start the OSHA "Quick Fix" process, or in other cases it will be a valuable adjunct to a complete ergonomic program.

Printed Report: After the assessment data is entered a printed report is provided, detailing the positive findings. This, along with the Discomfort Survey, provides comprehensive information pertaining to the individual employee.

Consult with occupational physicians: There is also an optional feature whereby the HCP can consult directly, by e-mail or phone, with an experienced occupational physician for further guidance about diagnosis, management, or referrals.
